Welcome to the Plough & Harrow. We are a real country pub and guest house, serving a wide selection of drinks and traditional dishes in a warm, cosy and welcoming atmosphere.

Based in Tilmanstone, an old Kent mining village, the pub's quaint building is approximately 150 years old and is visited by people near and far.

We are regularly visited by ramblers and walkers, who find our pub a great place to rest and enjoy a cool drink and a delicious meal during long countryside walks.

Our well-stocked bar serves a full range of lagers and real ales and we source our ales from the local Shepherd Neame Brewery – the oldest family brewery in the country, ensuring quality ales at all times. We have a bar billiards table and two bar billiards teams – who are nearly as old as the pub itself!

Peckish? Enjoy a home-cooked meal in our beautiful conservatory restaurant. We serve a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes, and our menu also includes a selection of vegetarian meals.

Families are always welcome at the Plough & Harrow. We have a large car park for patrons and a lovely beer garden to enjoy in the summer months.

Our 4 comfortable letting rooms are available at fantastic rates - with 1 double, 1 single, 1 family and 1 twin room. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities as well as colour TV's for your convenience.
